 APCO’s Flight Deck resembles
other cockpits, but has some unique features which makes it
more user friendly and convenient. Top part is designed to hold flying instruments.
The floor is velcroed to keep the instruments in place and the floor angle
is adjustable for optimal viewing possibilities. The instruments are covered
with a padded flap.
The bottom part (ballast bag) is designed as a separate compartment.
It can be zipped on to the top part or left off, depending on pilot's need
or preferences. So if it is not needed for carryin ballast or other
equipment, it can just be zipped
off.
Additional storage space (pocket) for maps and documents is built in to the flight deck with zipped
