apco thrust hp Conceived as a direct result of pilot demand for a high performance, high speed range wing capable of competing with latest Reflex generation of wings, but with spotless launch/ flare, lighter brake pressure and responsive handling

The Thrust riser system allows the pilot to modify the THRUST profile into Reflex profile using the trimmers and accelerator, retaining the advantages of THRUST profile on the lower end of the speed range and maintaining the ability for very low stall speed, helping with launch in any wind condition. This was achieved by incorporating a unique patent pending SRS® (automatic Stall Recovery System) into the HP design. Therefore we call this a hybrid profile. In the normal flying position all four rows of lines (ABCD) of the canopy are load-bearing whereas when flying at maximum speed only the A's and B's take the load. The greatest thickness of the aerodynamic profile has been moved more forwards so as to support any changes around the centre of pressure and keep the wing pilot-able at all speeds apco thrust hp

The Thrust's risers are fitted with long trimmers which allow it to comfortably maintain a cruising speed of over 50 km/h and a top speed over 60 km/h. In case of flying in rough air the foot operated speed system is better to maintain a high cruising speed, control the pitch of the wing and return to slow flying if necessary

SRS® is responsible for THRUST ability to fly and launch at amazingly low speed despite its high wing loading, preventing the wing and pilot from stalling at critical angle of attack and aiding in automatic recovery in case of a stall. HP design is based on Thrust concept, using same profile and plane form, allowing for sharing of the same certification as THRUST. SRS® combined with HIT® valves and FLEXON® battens (along with other unique APCO features) are responsible for the unrivaled performance of THRUST HP - We believe - currently the best paramotor wing around

The Thrust HP is a fantastic wing, easy launch, light and responsive and the quality is second to none. It will sit above your head at walking speed in 3mph winds. Launching and landing speeds are slow and climb rates are excellent. The wing is one of the lightest in its class at less than 6Kg, this makes inflation very easy requiring little effort.
